Polymer-based internal machine foundations : Solid groundwork

Diverse requirements need differentiated solutions. DIAMANT meets the need for load-bearing, time and cost-optimised levelling of machine foundations with various systems. As an intelligent alternative to complex conventional methods of gap levelling – for example with wedge plates or lining plates.

The product range extends from the MM1018 polymer system, which can be applied on site, for 100% form and force-fit, full-surface gap levelling between steel-steel and steel-concrete elements, to the flowable and fast-curing epoxy resin grouting mortar EP-Flow and the dimensionally stable DWH fine adjustment coating.

What all solutions have in common is a clear focus on time and cost-optimised, uncomplicated application. As well as an extremely flexible range of applications in mechanical engineering.

For example, grouting mortars from DIAMANT do not require air curing or post-processing, as is the case with water-based systems. In addition, the usual shrinkage is eliminated.

The metal polymer MM1018, also known as “liquid lining sheet”, retains its high compressive strength even under extreme conditions, such as strong vibrations or temperature fluctuations from -40 °C to +90 °C. Another strong argument in favour of its use in mechanical engineering.

When used on machine foundations, the DWH fine adjustment covering scores with an extremely high load-bearing capacity of 160 N/mm² and thus exemplary compressive strength. At the same time, a value of just 0.05 per cent indicates minimal material shrinkage. Added to this are good damping properties, excellent adhesion to metal and extreme durability thanks to resistance to ageing and weathering.
