Alluvial tin replacement: an extremely useful alternative!
Today’s lead-free tin alloys make bodywork repairs by tinning an enormous challenge, often even impossible. In addition, the required temperature input (open flame) is often a problem. For example, for add-on parts, bonded joints or sensitive material mixes. As an alternative to conventional tinning, the DIAMANT CBR metal filler offers an intelligent and modern alternative.
DIAMANT CBR can be applied without heat input. This means that repairs can be carried out without having to completely remove add-on parts such as door panels or covers. With minimum effort and therefore significant time savings. And with increased safety. Because “cold” processing protects neighbouring paintwork, bonded joints, seam seals or cavity sealants. All of this is environmentally friendly and free of lead and heavy metals.
DIAMANT CBR is supplied ready for use in a two-component cartridge. Curing takes place at room temperature and can be accelerated by applying heat. The metal filler has good adhesion to aluminium, iron and steel and hardens without shrinkage. After curing, CBR can be sanded with little dust and is easy to paint over.
